Expiring Domain Tool…

With the advent of domain aging, often buying a used domain is better than starting from scratch. But here come the problems… 1. How do you find a domain that is about to expire? 2. Domain expiring lists are available to everyone, how do i find the ones that no one else has found? 3. How do I know that a domain is worth buying? 4. How long can it remain expired before it loses its value? Well, there is an easy solution to all three of these. You need to create a web application that finds domains before they expire and before they make it to the big expired domain names lists and then target them for backordering! So how do you do this? Create a web application that searches Google for your targeted keywords and checks every domain which pops up to...

BlinkBits Hacked! 981,213 at risk.

The popular BlinkBits Website has been hacked. The exploit can be viewed after registering for the site, at which time you receive aÂÂ confirmation email with the following title: “Welcome to HACKED BY TURK-SOPHİA”.ÂÂ ThisÂÂ seemsÂÂ toÂÂ beÂÂ partÂÂ ofÂÂ aÂÂ prolificÂÂ hackingÂÂ individual/organization: http://www.google.com/search?q=HACKED+BY+TURK Although I do not know the extent of the intrusion, the site claims to have nearly 1 Million “blinkers” in the online community. I have attached the raw headers from the confirmation email. ============== X-Gmail-Received: 906e9a20328403b80ee787f6dff6d3673de6ef27 Delivered-To: [email protected] Received: by 10.48.221.16 with SMTP id...

Note: Be sure to read Matt Cutt’s comments below. Sure, it is quite an inflammatory title, but hey, I’m a blogger. Anyway, here is the gist. Adam Lasnik gave a speech/session yesterday at Catholic University to assist Government web managers in optimizing their sites. Adam did a great job and it is understandable why Google would want the best SEO’d content to be that created and distributed by Government agencies. Nevertheless, he did let one foible out. Google doesn’t improve the link: command because they don’t want spammy requests. That’s right. Even though it is undoubtably useful to good webmasters, they don’t want to spend time, money, or resources making this command more useful because of the millions and...

Will Trade Sponsorship for Backlink…

After Egol over at SEOMoz posted a story on brainstorming Gov backlinks for SEO (http://www.seomoz.org/blogdetail.php?ID=1307), I wrote a brief comment and decided to dig a little deeper for some nice queries to find link possibilities through sponsorship… site:.edu || site:.gov “friends of the library” site:.edu || site:.gov “sponsor list” site:.edu || site:.gov “donor list” site:.edu || site:.gov “volunteer list” site:.edu “club sponsors” site:.gov “chamber of commerce” site:.gov “business resources” This is just a few, but you get the idea. Happy linking! No tags for this post.
