Pretend You’re From Canada

The good people from Holland.com have a tid-bit of advice for wouldbe American travelers abroad: “pretend you’re from canada”.

Amazing.

I’ve been “Canadian” on all my travel overseas since 2003. It’s just too dangerous otherwise. I just need to get a Canadian passport to be completely covered. The latest torture legislation may require it.

I’m pretty sure most dutch people won’t notice the difference between canadian and american accent, just like most americans won’t discern most of the dutch accents either, other then it being mostly gibberish to them.
